A clinician-patient relationship begins only after you complete patient registration through Hint Health, enter into the applicable membership agreement, and are accepted as a patient by the practice.
Not for emergencies
Do not use this website, email, or routine messaging for emergencies or time-sensitive medical needs. If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
If you are an established Ursa patient, use the secure messaging or other communication method we give you after you register for routine care-related questions. Ursa is not an emergency service and does not provide around-the-clock, on-demand care.
No guarantee of services
Information on this website may change. The availability, appropriateness, and scope of any service depend on your individual circumstances, applicable law, clinical judgment, clinician availability, and the terms of your membership agreement. Video visits are available only to patients located in Virginia, Washington, D.C., or Maryland at the time of the visit.
Ursa Primary Care may refer patients to specialists, urgent care, emergency departments, laboratories, imaging facilities, pharmacies, or other outside providers when clinically appropriate. Those services are outside Ursa membership unless expressly stated otherwise and may involve separate charges.
Direct primary care and insurance
Ursa Primary Care is a direct primary care practice. Membership is not health insurance and does not replace insurance coverage for services outside the practice, including emergency care, hospital care, surgery, specialty care, imaging, and other services not included in your membership agreement.
